Office 2013 is the productivity suite for Microsoft's mobile and cloud. It is available as a stand-alone software kit or as a subscription model for Microsoft's Office 365. The services are included in different versions:
The first thing you will notice when beginning Microsoft Office 2013 is that all supported devices, including desktops, smartphones and tablets, have a new, refreshing and coherent look. You can view and edit your files from any device via a browser via an Office 365 subscription and integration with SkyDrive.
Among the new features is a Word 2013 "Read Mode" which eliminates toolbars and allows you to scroll through a file like an "E-Reader." Videos are supported more effectively. They can be searched directly inside Word, added and displayed. Excel 2013 has fresh and simple ways to work in spreadsheets with equations and maps. In presentation mode, for example "Slide Zoom" to zoom in on a portion of your slide, Powerpoint 2013 has been improved with better controls. It also made it easier to add images to a presentation as you can now scan and add photos from your Flickr accounts and other online image and social network sites.
