Invoicing and Payment Processing
A really useful feature of HouseCall Pro is the ability to invoice on the fly and receive payments in a variety of different ways. As soon as a job is marked as complete, HouseCall Pro allows the user to send automated email invoices immediately from a mobile device. The customer is then able to pay with a credit card online or they can send payment via other supported methods, such as with cash or via a bank transfer.
HouseCall Pro processes payments at a flat rate of 2.69% + $0.30 whilst on site. All the user has to do is key in or scan the customer’s debit/credit card and then capture their e-signature. Because HouseCall Pro integrates with QuickBooks Online, the whole accounting process is simplified as well.
Scheduling and Dispatch
Managing schedules and dispatching contractors can be a tricky affair. With HouseCall Pro, as soon as a customer books a job order with your business via the HouseCall app, you are notified immediately. The booking app gives the customer various ways to provide key information regarding the job that needs undertaking. With it, they can send photos of the job site and provide written information on the requirements of the job. This is great for accurate estimation pricing.
All jobs are stored in Google Calendar, which can be checked anytime via HouseCall Pro for daily, weekly, or monthly schedules. Jobs can be assigned to any available technicians in only a matter of a few clicks. All the information regarding the job is then sent to them. If there are any last-minute changes, these are pushed to their device in real time.
HouseCall Pro has seamless integrations with popular accounting service, QuickBooks Online, and with Google Calendar.
HouseCall Pro operates a subscription pricing model and has four plans; Free, Start, Grow, and Manage, starting at $0 per month, rising to $179 per month. The Grow and Manage plans have an additional one-time setup fee of $99. All plans include products and services, such as apps for iOS and Android devices, web services, real-time dispatching, QuickBooks Online and Google Calendar integration, GPS vehicle tracking, and a customer booking app as well.
The Free plans is suited to one user and covers all the baseline features. The Start plan is priced at $35 per month for one user. Along with the baseline features, this plan comes with PostCard and Email marketing and Live chat support. Next up is the Grow plan, which is priced at $71 per month for ten users. You also get Company chat in-app, and QuickBooks Online integration (HouseCall Pro is also working on a custom SMS service). Finally the Manage plan is priced at $179 per month and is for an unlimited number of users. For this you get customizable reports, and Employee GPS map tracking (HouseCall Pro is also working on a Web booking widget).
